4. CEIAG in the Curriculum
Addressing careers education within and beyond specific subjects allows students to contextualise their learning as part of a wider journey, leading to improved engagement and progress.
All teachers have a responsibility to develop careers provision in their curriculum areas, making links between their subject, the wider world, labour market information and demand for such skills and job roles.
CEIAG across the curriculum is celebrated on awareness dates across the year. A whole school focus takes place during:
- National Apprenticeship Week
- National Careers Week
- All subjects across the school will deliver career activities during these weeks.
